Job Responsibilities

1. Provide technical and operational support to Shift Supervisors in troubleshooting production process issues to ensure safe, stable, and efficient plant operations in line with the production plan.
2. Monitor and analyze production process performance and operating data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and actions to enhance plant efficiency and operational reliability.
3. Prepare monthly operations reports for the BST Production, summarizing production performance, operating conditions, key issues, and corrective actions. Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure production targets are achieved.
4. Coordinate with relevant functions to source and engage contractors for equipment maintenance in accordance with the maintenance plan, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
5. Coordinate with internal departments, including Technical, Planning, Maintenance, Safety, Administration, and Human Resources, to ensure that operational activities are carried out effectively and in line with established plans.
6. Monitor and follow up on plant incidents, safety incidents, non-conformities, and complaints to ensure that corrective actions are completed and cases are closed within the specified timelines. Consolidate and report incident status to the BST Production Manager.
7. Closely monitor and coordinate with Shift Supervisors to control the production process and ensure that raw materials and chemicals are consumed in accordance with established standards. Collect and consolidate daily reports from Shift Supervisors.
8. Regularly review operating procedures and production-related documents, and propose revisions to ensure they accurately reflect actual plant operations and current operating practices.
9. Lead and support process improvement initiatives, including production capacity enhancement, energy optimization, cost reduction, and other operational efficiency improvement projects.
10. Support Process Safety and plant improvement activities, including Plant Modification, Management of Change (MOC), HAZOP, PSSR, and other engineering or improvement projects as required.
11. Perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Emergency Supporting Process (ESP) and emergency response requirements.
12. Consolidate, coordinate, and plan major maintenance and turnaround activities for the BST Production section with relevant functions to ensure proper planning, safe execution, and completion in accordance with the established plan.
13. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum GPA of 2.70
• 1 - 2 years of experience in petrochemical manufacturing, chemical process operations, or a related industry
• TOEIC score of 550 or above

Critical Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of petrochemical/chemical production processes and plant operations.
• Ability to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and production process data.
• Knowledge of process equipment, operating procedures, and basic process control.
• Strong skills in data analysis, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), HAZOP, MOC, and PSSR.
• Knowledge of process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or Aspen HYSYS is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Laboratory, and other related functions.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare technical reports.

Compensation Data

• Permanent Employee
• Location : Map Ta Phut, Rayong
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00)
• Starting salary : 30,000 THB
• Provident Fund.
